Indevex Watertech AB was founded in 2002 by Indevex Holdings Ltd. The business was managed as a division developing new formulates of cleansing products, initially for fresh cut vegetables. The first product prototypes were ready and patent application were submitted in 2004.

IWAB was created as a limited company in July 2004, founded by the management and a group of private investors.

Partnerships have been established with two french companies; LCB SA, a specialist in smoke based food disinfectants, and ANIOS SA, a specialist in liquid food disinfectants.

The European sales organistion is stepwise growing in parallell with the set up of customer service centers in each country.
