The Cable Avoidance Tool (CAT) is a full function, industry standard locator. It is rugged, lightweight and full of features including an LCD meter, detachable loudspeaker and fingertip controls. The advantages of this system are a visual display providing greater precision and offering improved operation for accurate direction and splitting close signals. Also, a spare battery pack, constant battery level indicator and a customer replaceable speaker assembly. The XD model features continuous depth rather than a 'frozen' measurement, excellent depth accuracy over full range of operation and is used with the standard signal generator.
