The sensor is a miniature platinum resistance thermometer designed to be suitable for surface mounting and operation in a "Space" environment. The Sensor compromises a high alumina ceramic disc with platinum winding and platinum connection leads. The ceramic sensor has a small circular 8mm Dia footprint with four platinum leads exiting vertically from the rear face of the sensor and laid over ina pre-defined eccentric location to exit horizontally from the ceramic. The mass of the sensor with the four leads is less than 0.6g. Temperature Range: 90°K to 400°K (-183°C to +127°C) Permitted Pull Load On Leads: 4.5 Newtons for 5 Seconds.
